Chris started the business way back in 1987 in a small factory unit on the Barbot Hall Industrial Estate and then moved on to the Greasborough Street site in 1993.
After 5 years of continual growth the company needed larger premises and moved to the purpose built factory unit on Taylors Lane where we are today.
Chris is responsible for the nationwide site surveying of our ATM installation contracts. He enjoys playing golf, supporting his beloved Sheffield United and travelling around the world on his motorbike.
Steve started work as a joiner/window fitter in 1995. He quickly developed into the role of general manager and became responsible for the day to day running of the company. In 2010 Rotherham Glass expanded into the UPVC window and door manufacturing sector and Steve is at the hub, surveying, quoting, designing and putting orders into production.
He spends most of his spare time enjoying his 5 grandchildren and touring around the UK and France with his caravan
Sue has worked in the glazing industry since leaving school, first with Chapeltown Glass in 1981 and then Hoyland Glazing Services. She started at the company in 1997 as a part time bookkeeper/secretary and has seen the company go from strength to strength.
In 2002 she took on the role of Production Manager, responsible for all glass and double glazing production. Nowadays she has to wear many hats – sales, wages, HR, marketing and advertising, accounts, transport and is responsible for the administrative side of the company.
She has a passion for football, shoes and holidays and is a self-confessed party animal.
Chris persuaded Leighann to join the company from Sheffield United in 2003. Initially employed in credit control she quickly gained experience in customer service and product knowledge. Leighann recently became our Glazing Co-ordinator and is responsible for the organisation of all our on-site surveying and fitting.
She enjoys spending time with her 2 children and chasing after her energetic dog Jasper.
Neil joined us is 2011 and is in charge of our UPVC sister company, Rotherham Glass Windows and Doors on Greasborough Street. His responsibilities include quality control and the manufacture of all our UPVC and composite products.
With his 30 years experience and excellent organisation skills he has proved to be the driving force in the continuing success story at Northside.
He appreciates fine dining, enjoys short breaks in the UK and loves to go and see a good film at the cinema
