Manual opening systems can operate single or multiple high level windows by using a handle situated within easy reach for the user.
Often referred to as ‘Teleflex’ winders which in reality is an old brand name from years ago, there are several brands available such as Ottelli Ricardo, Highline and USC (Ultraflex Control Systems) amongst the most popular options.
All of the above systems look very very similar in design, and all work on the same principles as many of the parts are interchangeable so call us for advice.
Manual winding gear window openers can be fitted to most types of windows such as side hung, top hung, bottom hung open in or out, skylight and roof windows.
All of our manual winding window openers are not only suitable for domestic appliances but are also suitable for commercial applications and are traditionally used in schools, local education authorities, health authorities, councils, main contractors, window fabricators and installers, building occupants, maintenance companies and much much more.
How Manual (Teleflex Style) Window Openers Work
Basically you are winding a helical cable from an operating handle positioned at low level, through conduit fixed to your wall and window and through a cog in your chain opener which is fixed to your opening vent.
The cable drives a cog in your chain opener which will push out a chain fixed to your window, this will push open and pull closed your window or group of windows.
